Good Citizenship is a fundamental IBA value that expresses our goal to serve the interests of our customers, our organization, and the general public.
As such, we have established Certified Quality Systems and Procedures based upon International and U.S. requirements, such as ISO 9000 standards and Quality System Regulations (QSRs). Throughout the IBA organization, our focus is to ensure the highest level of quality services, as well as the safety of our employees and the protection of our environment and surrounding communities.
Our sense of responsibility goes beyond the operation of our facilities. Throughout the development, manufacture, installation, operation and post-market maintenance support of IBA equipment and facilities, we deal with issues of public concern as well as safety aspects and possible effects on the environment.
Furthermore, IBA's Quality Assurance and Environmental, Health & Safety Department continually works to ensure that good practices are maintained at every stage of our business, including:
- Materials and components selection,
- Equipment design,
- Emission controls,
- Facility operations,
- Disposal and recycling,
- Employee training,
- Facility licenses and permits, and
- Community awareness.
The activities of our many businesses comply fully with all applicable requirements, including, but not limited to, regulatory bodies such as the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and European Union (EU) Directives.
