FAREWELL TO A FRIEND

IBA lost a friend and colleague in late December. Frank Uytterhaegen, 57, a key IBA staff member for 24 years, who most recently served as President of IBA China, lost his battle with cancer, which he bravely fought for about a year.

This is for me a time of deep sorrow and sadness. I lost an extraordinary teammate, but most of all — like many of you — I lost a friend," wrote Pierre Mottet, Chief Executive Officer, IBA, in announcing Uytterhaegen’s passing to IBA staff. "This reminds me of how personal, and how necessary, our war against cancer continues to be."
