The newly-opened Texas Center for Proton Therapy is now treating patients, offering this beneficial cancer treatment modality to the 6.5 million residents of Dallas-Fort Worth and the North Texas metropolitan area three months in advance of the initial schedule. Featuring a three-room Proteus®PLUS proton therapy system consisting of one fixed-beam treatment room and two 360° isocentric gantry treatment rooms, Texas Center for Proton Therapy is equipped with the latest generation proton therapy technology, including image-guided Pencil Beam Scanning.
Dr. Andrew K.
